A Message from Husband and Wife Team Mike & Helen

 

South West Steam is brought to you by husband and wife team of Mike and Helen Pursey, through their experience with taking images at Somerset's illuminated carnivals, they have decided that the time has come to extend to their interest from Carnival into Steam Rallies.

 

The friendliness of the entrants at these events is overwhelming, to the point that they will stop their exhibits on the way to the parade ring to allow you to get that extra special shot. .

 

It is Mike and Helen's intention to show all aspects of the events, and thus you will see, not only the big traction engines, but stationary engines, commercial vehicles, classic cars, classic motorcycles, agricultural vehicles, fire engines, military vehicles and last but not least the modellers section.
